About

Anisha O. Jenkins

I attended college at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Georgian Court University located in Lakewood, New Jersey. In 2007, I earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and successfully secured my license from New York State. Currently, I am working toward earning my LCSW.
Prior to pursuing my private practice, I worked with juvenile offenders for the City of New York. Additionally, I worked as a group home therapist for adolescent girls and as a family therapist to families in the foster care system. Moreover, I spent years working for the United States Court System assisting federal offenders and their families rebuild their lives after reentering society.
Most importantly, my husband has helped me to find a strength buried deep inside of myself, my daughter has given me a reason to never give up and God has graciously provided me with His blessing. And although I did not realize it at the time, all of my experiences have prepared me for my walk with you.
